Pierre, Angelika and their baby Tadeusz

Very attached to our neighborhood where they lived for some time before the birth of their child, they always return there with pleasure for a "nostalgic stroll" to discover the charming commercial activities.

On weekends, they like to get away from the city and take little Tadeusz to nature, especially to the farms located at the gates of Paris.

Can you introduce yourself?

My name is Angelika, I am of Polish origin, I have been living in Paris since 2011.

In 2015, I met Pierre, and we moved to rue du Cherche-Midi. But with the arrival of Tadeusz we had to move to Vincennes. We both work in aeronautics.

Your favorite family activity or weekend getaway?

We don't live in the neighborhood anymore, but we go back there very often. Our classic tour goes from the Bon Marché, to the Polish Bookstore on Boulevard Saint-Germain, to the Luxembourg Garden and finally, we meet for an unmissable snack break at Mamie Gâteau.

If on Saturdays we like to walk around Paris, on Sundays, we devote it to more natural outings. Just next door, we are lucky to have the Parc Floral. We also often go to the farms in the Paris region to pick fruit like those of Gally or Viltain...

A commercial activity in the neighborhood that you love?

We like the Italian restaurant Le Cherche Midi, Pasta Vino for the paninis or the Boulangerie Poilâne; we lived just above it and we always smelled the delicious chocolate bread!

What do you like most about the Marie Puce boutique?

All your products are very classy. Here, we find unique pieces, very simple but always refined. We love the quality of the fabrics and the retro cuts like the pretty collars.

What color or print do you like the most?

For Tadeusz, we love eucalyptus green, gingham checks, blue... In general, delicate and soft colors.

Your last purchase at Marie Puce?

Little shirts and the summer romper with the pretty mother of pearl buttons, very elegant.

I still remember my first purchase in the Marie Puce store: Tadeusz wasn't born yet, but I bought a little box with the mouse Maileg. It was adorable!
