Summer is at our doorstep... Our desire to get back to the way things used to be and to enjoy moments of conviviality with family and friends is stronger than ever. Never before we have dreamed so much of a good lunch on a terrace, of the sound of glasses clinking, of the coming and going of waiters, and the laughter without the masks. So for our third edition of Paris Secret, we made a small selection of the most bucolic and original terraces in Paris where to enjoy very tasty dishes under the Parisian summer sun. The Parisian summer promises to be rich in flavors and culinary delights! And don't forget to share your most beautiful family moments on Instagram #parissecretbymariepuce.

Musée de la vie romantique

It is certainly one of the most bucolic in Paris.

Far from the rumors of the capital, the tea saloon of the Musée de la Vie Romantique, taken over by the team of Rose Bakery, is a true haven of peace in the heart of the 9th district and continues to inspire today's artists.

This corner of paradise transports its visitors to the countryside and offers them a break at lunchtime or snack time under the shade of rosebushes and among bellflowers and clematis.

Depending on the weather, you can sit on the cool terrace under the trees or in the sublime plant greenhouse with its natural decor in blond wood.

Cali Sisters and Cali Uptown restaurants

Cali Sisters is the restaurant in the 2nd arrondissement that brings sunshine to the Parisian summer with its giant palm tree and XXL glass roof.

Founded by two sisters, both passionate about California and its art of living, the restaurant is characterized by a bohemian gipsy decor reminiscent of Venice Beach and a Californian cuisine that is as healthy as delicious.

In the same spirit, the two sisters opened this year a second restaurant in the 10th arrondissement, called Cali Uptown. You can enjoy their delicious recipes based on vegetables, tacos, cripsy rice bowls and meatballs, all in a very pop decor. The two big palm trees and the cactus forest on the yellow terrace will transport you directly to Palm-Spring, for a little trip to the California sun.

Bontemps Pâtisserie

Pushing the door of the Bontemps patisserie, in the 3rd arrondissement, is like arriving in the enchanted world of Alice in Wonderland.

A real pleasure for the eyes and for the taste buds: try the homemade jam and the little Sicilian Bergamot shortbread, served in pretty porcelain plates...

At Bontemps Pâtisserie, everything is divine and exquisite.

Le Brach

Are you looking for a fancy picnic on a hippy chic terrace? We've found the perfect place for you!

Opened in 2018 and decorated by the indefatigable Philippe Starck, the Brach hotel has established itself as the hippy-chic spot in the 16th arrondissement.

Here, you can enjoy chef Adam Bentalha's Mediterranean cuisine outdoors on the first floor, or opt for the Asian-flavored menu on the 1st-floor terrace. Don't forget the rooftop garden on the 7th floor: it's the perfect place for an unforgettable sunset picnic overlooking the Eiffel Tower.
