This year, the desire to rediscover the eyes of a child and to enter into the magic of Christmas is stronger than ever! So, take advantage of being with your family during these holidays, to go for a walk with your children in the most magical places of the capital.

Here are our 5 favorite Christmas walks that we share with you for our Paris Secret #7.

The Enchanted Forest at the Hôtel de Ville

The heart of Paris is lit up in the colors of Christmas with a forest of trees, stars, a shower of snowflakes, and a superb carousel.

Small chalets await you to enjoy sweets, mulled wine, and pretzels and the traditional Christmas village takes you on a discovery of artisanal products with the "Fabriqué à Paris" label.

Fun is also guaranteed for your children, who can take advantage of the various free sports activities: sledding, climbing, and why not a ride on a wooden horse.

And of course, the uncontested protagonist of the festivities is not missing! Santa Claus welcomes you every day from 2 pm to 8 pm to share the magic of Christmas with the little ones.

The Tuileries Gardens

Immerse yourself in a completely magical atmosphere that will make you quickly forget the noise of the city! Snow-covered fir trees, snowmen, Santa Claus, and many colorful attractions are waiting for you every day until 2 January.

In this enchanted setting, you can have fun with your family by choosing between about thirty rides, the ghost trains, the Christmas skating rink, or the 70m high Ferris wheel with a magnificent view of Paris. Your children will be delighted!

For those with a sweet tooth, about fifty chalets are set up to satisfy all tastes: raclette, mulled wine, hot chocolate, waffles, winter dishes... And if you are late with your Christmas shopping, discover the artisanal products from different regions of France.

Christmas windows of Printemps and Galeries Lafayette

Move to the IX arrondissement to dream in front of the Christmas windows of Printemps! They are charming as always, well decorated and animated with music for everyone's pleasure.

This year, Printemps has put Santa's elves on stage, busy making gifts and planning a magical Christmas. Find them preparing Chanel N°5 perfume or making Prada outfits in a setting full of joy and good humor.

Now that you're here, you can't miss Galeries Lafayette!

Be amazed by the huge Christmas tree that dominates the scene, proudly hanging in the center of the rotunda. This year, it is accompanied by a blue rabbit and a big cosmonaut Santa.

And don't forget to head up to the top of the terrace to enjoy an incredible view of the whole city of Paris from where you can take the most beautiful family picture.

Bercy Village

Are you looking for the most Instagrammable Christmas spot in Paris? Let's go to Bercy Village in the XIIth arrondissement.

This year, at nightfall, its alley is transformed thanks to its absolutely magical decor. 1200 luminous and sparkling umbrellas, signed by Patricia Cunha, light up on a length of 200 meters to create a Christmas atmosphere.

This enchanted stroll leads you to a giant tree decorated with about thirty umbrellas. It's an original walk to experience with family, friends or as a couple!

And to live the Christmas spirit even more, Santa Claus and his elves will welcome you this weekend from 2pm to 6pm.

The Festival of Lights at the Jardin des Plantes

Like every year, the festival of lights of the Jardin des Plantes presents a nightly luminous stroll in an enchanting atmosphere!

This year, on the theme "Evolution in the process of illumination", the walk stages the evolution of life. A stroll of about 1 hour will capture the attention of the youngest and will take you back to a few million years ago, presenting the extinct species.

Many monumental luminous structures are waiting for you along a path that stages different environments. Dive into the ocean or the fantastic world of dinosaurs.

An outing not to be missed during the holidays!
