For our sixth episode of #ParisSecretByMariePuce, we take you on a tour of the best tea rooms in the capital where you can enjoy a tasty slice of cake, pastries, or the iconic macaroons, accompanied by a hot chocolate or a delicate tea.

Angelina

An emblematic address, founded in 1903 and located under the arcades of the rue de Rivoli, in the 1st arrondissement, this tea room is a refined place where the Parisian aristocracy and the greatest couturiers such as Coco Chanel used to meet.

For more than a century, Angelina has been a Mecca for Parisian gourmet pleasures.

In a very elegant decor, signed by an architect of the Belle Époque, with a profusion of moldings, gildings, old frescos, you will be able to taste delicious pastries and the iconic hot chocolate.

Are you ready to discover the new Autumn-Winter pastry collection created by the pastry chefs of Maison Angelina? The Mont-Blanc caramel, the Délice Vanille, or the Voyage passion-ananas are waiting to make you dream!

Mamie Gatêau

A must-see and recommended by all our customers in the neighborhood, this charming pastry shop is just a stone's throw away from our shop, on rue du Cherche midi, in the sixth arrondissement.
Opened 18 years ago, as soon as you enter, you find yourself in a warm, family atmosphere that evokes the cuisine of grandmothers.

If you're looking for a pastry shop with a local flavor, you've come to the right place. Every day, simple pastries with an authentic taste are prepared on the spot, bringing back childhood memories.

The feeling of nostalgia inspired the creation of the Mamie Gâteaux tea room in memory of a gourmet childhood.

It allows creating the same flavors you could find at the court of Versailles according to the Queen's favorite recipes, such as the Original Marie-Antoinette cake and tea.

This museum-boutique-tea room is a real tribute to the world of Versailles: you will even find historical objects, such as the marble bust of Marie-Antoinette, made by Felix Lecomte in 1783, a handwritten letter from the Queen, or the replica of her shoe.

In a chic and friendly setting, the salon offers a wide choice of teas to accompany a delicious homemade Marie-Antoinette cake.
